I've spent my entire life growing up in the PNW. Drawing was always a hobby of mine, but my passion for art never took off until college. Studying structural engineering, I drew hyper-detailed architectural sketches in my dorm with micron pens, and then when I started getting more and more requests, I began taking commissions. I also sell high quality prints of all the original pen drawings I've made. A strong majority of my work is of subject matter from the Pacific Northwest area including UW, WSU, and Seattle scenes. I start with the perspective in light pencil, make adjustements until perfect, and then use a variety of cross-hatching techniques for the shading. Due to the immense detail, each drawing takes 10+ hours. Original commissions cost anywhere from $100-500/e, but I make prints in several sizes for $30-50/e of existing work too (Which is what I primarily sell at art festivals like UCU). 100% of my artwork is done by hand!
