My nonprofit is KITS (Kindness in Tough Situations) by Stacie. We focus on creating kits that have essential items for those in need around King County. These kits include period kits, essential item kits, food kits, and more to assist different needs for the community. Right now, we service those in need by working with established nonprofits around King County. This way, they can focus on their mission and we can focus on getting products to individuals in the most efficient way possible. For an activity, we will likely have a "spin the wheel" type game where people can answer a question on homeless and get a corresponding prize. We will also have another interactive activity (such as putting a post-it note on a board or assisting in putting items in a kit) but are working on the specifics of that activity. I am the founder and president and live in Issaquah - even starting the business while living here. The nonprofit also services King County, which includes Issaquah getting support.
