Lens of Youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through storytelling, art, and community engagement. We work to amplify underrepresented voices by sharing personal stories and creative works that foster empathy, understanding, and inclusion. In the Issaquah community, Lens of Youth promotes awareness and inclusion through outreach initiatives, school engagement, and participation in local events. We aim to collaborate with students, educators, and community organizations to create educational and interactive experiences that highlight the importance of accessibility and acceptance. Through these efforts, we help build a more informed and inclusive environment within Issaquah. We've attended AAPI, Grape Escape, worked with the Inclusive Circle and had an exhibition at Issaquah Library & Gibson Ek High School.
