Save Our wild Salmon is a coalition organization with 50+ member organizations - conservation, fishing, clean energy and orca advocates - working together to protect and restore healthy, fishable populations of wild salmon and steelhead in the Columbia-Snake River Basin and across the Pacific Northwest. Our advocacy, organizing and education program work occurs across Washington State, including Issaquah, and the Northwest. Our program work focuses on educating the public about wild salmon and steelhead and the many gifts they bring to our region. SOS is especially focused on protecting and enhancing clean, cool water and protecting, restoring and reconnecting the river and stream habitats that native fish in the Northwest need to survive and recover themselves. We work closely with other NGOs; state and federal policymakers, businesses and many regional Tribes and Indigenous-led organizations.
